Staff

Craig Livermore, Executive Director

Mr. Livermore holds a B.A. from Franklin and Marshall College in Mathematics, a M.T.S. from Harvard, and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. He has worked for Legal Outreach, Inc. where he developed, coordinated and taught law-related and other educational programs for underserved students in New York City.   He has also worked in hospice care, where he developed management strategies for extending services to underserved areas in northern New Jersey, directed privacy regulatory compliance, and supervised customer service training and quality assurance.  In 2006 he founded NJ LEEP, Inc.  Mr. Livermore has written articles on the intersection of religion, values, and democracy, and he has written a brief submitted to The Supreme Court of the United States on the issue of free speech and religious expression.

Onaje Crawford, Director of College Bound Programming

Mr. Crawford holds a B.S. in Political Science from Boston University. He has worked in multi-faceted administrative and educational roles for a charter school in Newark, NJ. He has extensive leadership experience with many organizations, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He has also worked for a math empowerment program and a mentoring program for urban youth as well as a mentoring program for juvenile offenders in Boston.

Jami Ramberan, Communications Coordinator

Ms. Ramberan holds a B.A., magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University in Honors English, with minors in Political Science and African American studies as well as an M.A. in Media Studies and Film from The New School.  She has experience in the realm of customer service with Walker & Company in Washington, D.C. and the Embassy of the Republic of Mauritius.  She has also mentored students in Newark to prepare them for success in college.

Constance Davis, After-School Program Instructor

Ms. Davis holds a B.A. and M.P.A. in Public Administration from Kean University. She has an expansive amount of professional experience, through her work with organizations such as the Greater Paterson Branch of the Opportunities Industrialization Centers of America and Simpson, Thatcher & Bartlett, LLP in New York. She has also served urban youth, as Assistant Director of a teenage outreach program, held at Calvary Gospel Church in Newark.

Geycel Best, Program Coordinator

Ms. Best holds a B.S. and an M.S. from Vanderbilt University and Rutgers University respectively. She has several years of teaching and administrative experience working in a private Newark elementary school. In addition, she has worked with secondary school placement and admissions offices during her role as an Educational Opprotunity Coordinator.
